With the deadline to apply in a trial in testing new technology soon closing, the trial which she believes may open up his world, Michelle has to get Ryan first to admit that he is indeed colorblind, which he seems reluctant to do, and then second to agree to participate in it. While a connection seems to be happening between Michelle and Ryan in the process, actually coming together may be hindered by what happens with the trial, and by misconceptions about others in their life, Mark on Michelle's side, and the plethora of colleagues and single mothers who are clamoring for Ryan's attention on his side, most specifically fellow teacher Gabby.—Huggo
